Young children will discover the wonder of flight in a unique sticker book about people who dared to do the “impossible.” Five full-color spreads highlight different periods in the development of flight. The sixty-three full-color vinyl stickers can be moved over and over again, and a separate booklet describes mankind’s fascination with flight—from the earliest days of history right up to the space age and beyond.

Review by Publishers Weekly, February 27, 1987
Realistic spreads labeled “Dreams of Flight: Icarus-1782,” “Early Days of Flight: 1783-1900,” “True Pioneers: 1900-1940,” “War and Peace: World War II-1977” and “Space:1957-Future” depict ancient landscapes and starry skyscapes on which readers can plot reusable stickers of balloons, wings, jets and the space shuttle. A small booklet with a straightforward history accompanies the full-color, almost photographic-quality illustrations. The stickers bear informative labels, imparting a sense of how our progress above ground evolved. An innovative idea that will set imaginations soaring.

What happened to the dinosaurs that roamed the earth millions of years ago? How and why did they become extinct? Were they warm-blooded, like elephants and people, or cold-blooded, like most other reptiles? When it comes to dinosaurs there are more questions than answers. In this Stick & Learn ™ book, some of the theories about dinosaurs are explained while children can re-create the environments in which they lived, including the Redwood Forest, Swamp, Uplands and  Kansas Seaway.
